Cristiane Machado

Born in 1969 in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Cristiane grew up surrounded by mysticism, various forms of faith, ceremonies, rituals, and a profound belief that we are all divine beings capable of magical feats. At age 13, Cris began to practice energy healing in the form of Johrei, a Japanese method of channeling energy through the hands and solar plexus. This was one of the first and biggest steps along her journey of service to others.

Before fully accepting the responsibility and honor of becoming a healing facilitator and answering the call to serve others, Cris tried to conform to society's standards and failed, as conforming was not part of her Dharma. This will be very evident when you meet her! She holds space for truly walking your own path, fully guided by the heart and spirit.

Testimonials

If you seek a yoga teacher who can properly teach you the asanas with gentleness, attention to detail, patience, and constant encouragement, then you will love Lola Rephann. Lola is a gifted teacher. She has introduced me to my body in a way I never knew possible. I wanted a spiritual teacher who could introduce me to the essence, the fullness, of yoga, not the fancy world that yoga has become in some circles. I found her. Lola has helped me to enter the spiritual life through my physical body.

Lola is obviously very seasoned, well educated in yoga, and understands that each of her students is on their own journey.
